Jacinta Grandel

I am Jacinta Grandel, an aspiring fashion designer with a passion for blending creativity with innovation. What I love most about fashion design is the creative process of finding inspiration and translating it into garments that people will be excited to wear  Most of my inspiration comes from nature and other works of art around me. I advocate for sustainable clothing consumption and ethical business practices by educating my peers and setting an example for myself in my own purchases and designs.

I am a recent graduate of Seattle Pacific University, with a BA in Apparel Design and a BA in Apparel Merchandising. With a strong background in retail, I have developed a strong understanding of customer needs by forming relationships and hearing their stories. With over 10 years of experience in sewing, I learned to value well-designed, high-quality products in both construction and materials. In starting my career in fashion, I aim to gain a holistic experience within the industry by working in a variety of roles. I am most interested in design, product development, and merchandising.
